— Terms of Service —

Plain-language terms.

Last updated: May 7, 2026

1. Introduction and acceptance

By using SuperWeddingPlanner, you agree to these terms. They're written to be readable.

These terms govern your use of SuperWeddingPlanner ("the service"), operated by bv vdm ventures BV, a Belgian company registered at Bondgenotenlaan 138, 3000 Leuven, Belgium ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

2. Eligibility

You have to be 18.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract under the laws of your country to use SuperWeddingPlanner.

3. Your account

Keep your password safe. You're responsible for what happens on your account. People you invite can edit your wedding plans.

You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account, to keep your credentials secure, and to take responsibility for all activity under your account. SuperWeddingPlanner allows you to invite a partner or collaborators to your wedding workspace; people you invite may view, edit, or contribute to the wedding content you share with them.

4. The service

We help you plan your wedding — mood boards, vendor suggestions, budgets, guest lists, the lot. Some of this is powered by Google's Gemini behind the scenes.

SuperWeddingPlanner provides web-based wedding planning tools, including but not limited to mood-boarding, vendor suggestions, planning timelines, budget tracking, and guest-list management. Some features are powered by third-party services, including Google's Gemini API.

5. Subscription, trial and billing

Seven-day free trial, then a monthly or yearly subscription. We bill via Stripe. VAT is added at checkout for EU consumers.

New accounts begin with a seven (7) day free trial. To continue using the service after the trial, you must subscribe to a paid plan (monthly or yearly). All payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are displayed excluding VAT; VAT is added at checkout for Belgian and other EU consumers in accordance with applicable law. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. We will give you at least thirty (30) days' notice by email of any price change.

6. Right of withdrawal and explicit waiver

EU law gives you a 14-day right to change your mind. To use the service from day one, you waive that right at checkout — but you can still cancel anytime.

As a Belgian or EU consumer, you ordinarily have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within fourteen (14) days under the Belgian Code of Economic Law (Book VI). When subscribing, you are asked to expressly consent to the immediate provision of the digital service and to acknowledge that you waive your right of withdrawal. Once the digital service has been performed, the right of withdrawal is lost. You remain free to cancel future renewals at any time, as described in section 7.

7. Cancellation

Cancel anytime in your account settings. You keep access until the end of your paid period — no pro-rata refund.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting [email protected]. Your access continues until the end of your current paid billing period; you will not be charged for subsequent periods. We do not provide pro-rata refunds for unused time within a paid period.

8. Acceptable use

Don't break the law, don't impersonate, don't scrape or abuse the service.

You agree not to use SuperWeddingPlanner to: (a) violate any law or third-party right; (b) upload illegal, harmful, defamatory, or misleading content; (c) impersonate another person; (d) scrape, mass-export, or resell our content or data; (e) attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or to other users' accounts; or (f) interfere with the operation of the service. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this section.

9. Your content and intellectual property

What you upload and what our tools generate for you is yours. You let us host and display it so the service works.

You retain ownership of all content you upload to SuperWeddingPlanner ("user content") and of the content the service generates for you (including AI-generated mood boards, vendor proposals, and planning suggestions). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and process this content solely as necessary to provide and operate the service to you. You warrant that you have the rights to upload any content you provide and that doing so does not infringe any third party's rights.

10. AI-generated content

Our tools give you suggestions and starting points. Always check with vendors before you book or sign anything.

Suggestions, mood boards, vendor matches, and other content generated by our planning tools (including those powered by Google's Gemini API) are starting points and not professional advice. They may contain inaccuracies, biases, or omissions. You agree to verify availability, pricing, contractual terms, and other material details directly with vendors and other third parties before relying on them.

11. Vendor listings

We may show you vendors. We're not endorsing them and we're not part of the deal you make with them.

SuperWeddingPlanner may display third-party vendors as suggestions. We do not endorse, certify, or guarantee any vendor. Any contract you enter into with a vendor is solely between you and that vendor, and we are not a party to it.

12. Service availability

We try to keep the service running, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime.

We aim to keep SuperWeddingPlanner available continuously, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be unavailable from time to time due to scheduled maintenance, unscheduled outages, or events beyond our reasonable control. We do not provide a service-level agreement.

13. Termination by us

We can close accounts that breach these terms, or wind down the service. We'll act in good faith and refund unused prepaid time where the law requires.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, engage in fraud or abuse, or if continued operation of the service is no longer viable. Where we terminate without cause and you have prepaid for time you cannot use, we will refund the unused portion to the extent required by Belgian consumer law.

14. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

We do our best, but we can't promise the service is perfect. Where the law lets us, our liability is limited.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law — and subject to mandatory rights you have under Belgian consumer protection law — the service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you arising out of or in connection with these terms or the service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under Belgian consumer law.

15. Changes to these terms

If we change anything meaningful, we'll let you know by email.

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email at least thirty (30) days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

16. Governing law and jurisdiction

Belgian law applies, and the courts of Leuven have jurisdiction. As an EU consumer, you can also bring claims in your home country.

These terms are governed by Belgian law. The courts of Leuven, Belgium, have jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms or the service. Nothing in this section limits the mandatory right of EU consumers to bring claims in the courts of their habitual residence under EU consumer law.
